About this Opportunity

Duties include answering questions and phone calls, planning trips, providing park information, and being a welcoming, friendly face to the public. Volunteers may present simple interpretive programs and assist with ranger-led programs. Volunteers will rove viewpoints and park trails.
We are looking for volunteers to help staff the Loomis Museum when it’s open from late May – mid October each year. This historic visitor contact station is located near Manzanita Lake, which is a very popular area of the park during the summer. The Manzanita Lake area encompasses several park trails, the Discovery Center and Volcano Adventure Camp (education facilities), and the park’s largest campground.
