FYAR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through music mentorship and workforce development. We create safe spaces for young people to grow, express themselves, and discover purpose.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented LinkedIn Assistant (Volunteer) to support our presence and engagement on LinkedIn. The assistant will help manage content, connect with potential partners and supporters, and showcase our impact and stories to a wider audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Help plan and schedule weekly posts (events, success stories, calls to action)
• Research and connect with potential partners, collaborators, or thought leaders
• Engage with relevant content
• Update and optimize the organization’s LinkedIn profile
• Monitor messages and notifications; respond or flag to team
• Suggest ways to increase engagement and visibility

Ideal Skills & Qualifications

• Strong written communication and content editing skills
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic social media strategy
• Reliable, proactive, and organized
• Passion for youth empowerment or nonprofit work
• Experience with Canva, Buffer, or LinkedIn analytics is a plus
