College/University Student MSW Generalist and Clinical Internships

VITAS offers First year MSW Generalist and Second Year MSW Clinical Internship Opportunities for students to complete their college/university rotation program. Education Affiliation Agreements are established with the student's school and duties and responsibilities are designed to meet curriculum needs in accordance with VITAS Standards, Policies, and Procedures. Students should allow adequate time for Agreement processing and required VITAS trainings prior to the start of their semester(s) required for rotation completion. As a leading provider of hospice care, students have an excellent opportunity for experience with patients, families, and VITAS clinical teams and bereavement staff. Florida required Level II background check and fingerprinting required along with medical form and TB testing.
