The mission of Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County is to create solutions, promote dignity, and inspire humanity. Despite a misconception that no one is hungry in Washtenaw County, the rising cost of living in the area has created a high percentage of working people who live on the edge of poverty. No one should have to decide between nutritious food and paying bills such as medicine and rent. Marginalized groups and older adults are disproportionately the ones facing these challenges. Nourish Nutrition Services, powered by JFS helps bridge the gap for our neighbors in need.
As a Volunteer Services Support Volunteer, you will support the volunteer services team. Your support will enhance the volunteer program by aiding in coordination and management of volunteer services, ensuring a positive experience for both volunteers and the organization.
