VITAS is looking for kind and caring people to bring comfort, support and help to hospice patients and their families. Friendly visits, simple errands, providing a listening ear and the gift of friendship at a crucial time can make a real difference in another's life. Yours, too! VITAS volunteer friendly visits might include providing companionship, reading, playing games or doing puzzles, running simple errands, or just being with someone to bring a friendly face and warm smile. Relieving the isolation and lonliness that often comes with illness is the goal of this special program. Let us know if you can help!
