Lead Tech Literacy Sessions for Seniors in Oakland (Glen Brook)

Do you want to help seniors overcome technological barriers? Volunteer to lead technology literacy sessions! Lead a weekly or biweekly session on Mondays after 2 pm at Glen Brook Terrace in Oakland (day and time flexible based on your availability).

Volunteer activites will vary each session and are based on resident needs and interests. Activities could include demonstrating how to connect to WiFi, fill out forms, send text messages and emails, search on the internet and more.

Bilinugual in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is a plus!

Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a week for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
