Thank you for your interest in joining Love My Neighbor Foundation!
Since 2015, we've been dedicated to feeding and clothing the homeless every Thursday in Skid Row - and now, we're growing. As we prepare to launch new programs, expand locations, and broaden our impact, we’re looking for a Project Associate volunteer to help bring our vision to life.
About the Role:
As a Project Associate volunteer, you'll work closely with the Project Coordinator and/or Founder to help design, plan, and execute projects that support LMNF’s mission. You'll play a vital role in building initiatives from the ground up - from developing outreach programs to helping secure funding for our work.
Though it's not required, we highly encourage volunteers who can join us on Thursdays (12 PM - 2:30 PM) to see our mission in action and better understand the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Founder and Project Coordinator on new initiatives
- Assist with the design and development of impactful community programs
- Help identify potential donors and funding opportunities
- Contribute to grant writing, fundraising campaigns, and outreach strategies
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and project execution
- Occasionally attend or support events and volunteer days
Who We’re Looking For:
- A self-starter with a "get-things-done" attitude
- Able to multitask and follow directions well
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Passionate about helping others and being part of a great cause
- Strong communicator and team player
- Has a flexible, consistent schedule and interest in long-term involvement
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in nonprofits, project coordination, fundraising, or community outreach
- Available Thursdays from 12:00 - 2:30 PM to serve and connect with our team
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Excel, or project management tools
- Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
Please Note:
- This is a volunteer position
- We are not offering school or community service hours for this role
- We are looking for serious, long-term volunteers only
If you’re ready to take part in something meaningful and help grow an organization that’s committed to making a real difference - we’d love to hear from you.
Apply today and let’s build something impactful - together.
Thank you in advance for your service and your heart.
