About this Opportunity
Wellbeing and ballance sub-team for CrowdDoing People Management
The Well-being and Balance Sub-Team plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and balanced environment for volunteers within CrowdDoing. Here's a proposed roadmap for this team:
Understand Volunteer Needs: Start by understanding the well-being and work-life balance needs of volunteers. This could be done through surveys, one-on-one meetings, or focus groups. Understanding the unique challenges volunteers face will help the team develop tailored strategies.
Establish Well-being Policies: Develop clear policies to promote well-being and work-life balance. This could include flexible volunteering hours, mental health resources, virtual social activities, and guidelines on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Promote Healthy Habits: Encourage volunteers to adopt healthy habits. This might involve organizing wellness challenges, sharing tips and resources on maintaining physical and mental health, and encouraging regular breaks and time off.
Provide Support Resources: Develop a repository of resources for volunteers that focus on various aspects of well-being, such as managing stress, staying physically active, and maintaining social connections. This could also include resources for mental health support, such as counseling services or self-care techniques.
Organize Well-being Workshops/Seminars: Regularly host workshops or seminars on topics related to well-being and work-life balance. Invite experts to talk about topics like mindfulness, stress management, nutrition, or exercise.
Implement a Support System: Create a support system where volunteers can share their experiences, challenges, and solutions. This could be a mentorship program, a buddy system, or regular group meetings.
Regular Check-ins: Regularly check in with volunteers to understand how they're doing and if they're facing any challenges related to well-being or work-life balance. This should be done in a supportive and non-intrusive manner.
Evaluate and Improve: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the well-being initiatives and make improvements based on feedback from volunteers.
Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with other sub-teams to ensure the well-being initiatives align with the overall goals of the People Management Team and the broader organization.
By following this roadmap, the Well-being and Balance Sub-Team can create an environment where volunteers can pursue their Ikigai without compromising their health, happiness, or work-life balance.
