Seeking Fundraising Committee

About the Opportunity

ConqHer is seeking passionate, organized, and creative individuals to join our Fundraiser Committee for our 11th Year Celebration: Blooming Together Luncheon - a milestone fundraising event that honors over a decade of empowering under-resourced girls and women through mentorship, leadership development, and workforce readiness.

As a committee member, you will help shape and support a meaningful, high-impact fundraising event that reflects the spirit and legacy of ConqHer. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to expand our reach, deepen our programs, and bloom into our next season of service.

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about empowering girls and women

• Organized, communicative, and dependable

• Comfortable reaching out to businesses and networks

• Experienced in event planning, fundraising, sponsorship, or marketing (preferred, not required)

• Excited to collaborate with a fun and purpose-driven team

• Located in DFW area (preferred for occasional in-person tasks or event-day support)

This is a great opportunity for professionals, community members, or college students looking to build nonprofit or event experience while giving back.

• Attend monthly virtual committee meetings (Sept 2024-March 2025)

• Support sponsorship and in-kind donation outreach

• Help secure silent auction items or donor giveaways

• Assist in promoting the luncheon (social sharing, personal outreach, etc.)

• Help brainstorm creative event elements tied to the "Blooming Together" and "11" theme

• Optional: support day-of event logistics (greeting guests, setup, etc.)

• 4-6 hours/month (includes meetings, outreach, and planning tasks)

• Heaviest involvement will be January-March 2025 leading up to the event

• Committee meetings will be held virtually with occasional in-person opportunities

• Complimentary ticket for you and a guest to the luncheon

• Letter of service/volunteer hours available upon request

• Networking with community leaders and creative professionals

• Recognition in event materials and on social media

• Meaningful role in a milestone moment for ConqHer’s mission
