Patient visitor in Rogers

Spend time with hospice patients in your local community of Rogers or anywhere in Northwest Arkansas. Hospice patients and their families highly benefit from friendly visitors who can spare a few minutes socializing or up to 4 hours for cargiver respite. No hands on care or experience required. Volunteers can read, listen, do light housekeeping, light pet care, art, music and play games or offer licensed therapies if applicable. e.g. massage, Reiki, pet therpay. We are also looking for licensed beauticians for simple hair cuts and nail polishing.

This rewarding position can be long term or for a minimum of 6 month on weekdays or weekends. Every volunteer undertgoes a background check, a drug screen and two consecutive TB-tests for insure the savety of our voulnerable population and receives training accordingly.
