About this Opportunity
Heartland Hospice (Senior Care)is seeking "Friendly Visitors" to help to enhance the quality of those facing end of life by bringing them the gift of caring, companionship and socialization.No experience necessary. The volunteer may offer to read to the patient, play music, assist with activities, talk with or simply be present. Must be comfortable with visiting with those having Dementia and may be non verbal. Volunteers will receive complete orientation and will be required to receive 2 Step TB test and Drug test at no cost to volunteer.
