About this Opportunity

Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment:

  • Assist Youth members ages 5-18 with academic studies as requested. Might include reading, writing, science, music, etc.
  • Teach fiber arts including sewing and stitching, knitting and crocheting, weaving, patchwork, etc.
  • Organize books into a library for youth and family members based on subjects, interests, educational purposes.
  • Research and write grants to secure outside funding for the organization.
  • Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment:

    Understanding of the subject matter, patience and understanding of youth member needs.
