Food Rescuer - New Brunswick, Middlesex Cty to Bound Brook, Somerset Cty

Our volunteers recover healthy meals from commercial donor cafeterias and deliver them to specified nearby non-profit organizations. Every meal saved stays out of the landfill, helping the environment, while also nourishing our community in need.

The volunteer role would involve:

• Picking up meals from

Bristol Myers Squibb New Brunswick, and

• Delivering these meals to the

Bound Brook Presbyterian Church in Bound Brook.

Pick-up/drop takes place on Friday afternoons at 1:30pm

Each volunteer task should take between 1 and 2 hours including travel time between donor and recipient.

We require volunteers to drive their own car. This opporunity will happen weekly and, while we welcome regular participation, we will work with your schedule (volunteer as you wish policy). Insulated bags will be provided to carry food donations.
