Outreach Volunteer

Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable volunteers to assist with cold calling efforts. As a volunteer, you will be a key part of our outreach team, helping to connect with individuals, raise awareness about our mission or campaign, gather support, and encourage engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls using a script to individuals or businesses

Introduce the organization or campaign and clearly communicate its goals

Ask questions, collect information, and track responses in a CRM or spreadsheet

Encourage support through donations, volunteering, voting, or event participation

Handle objections professionally and escalate questions when needed

Provide regular updates on progress to the supervisor or team lead

Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills

Comfortable speaking with strangers over the phone

Ability to stay positive and persistent

Reliable and punctual

Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, phone systems)

Previous phone experience is a plus, but not required
