Role Overview: As a Graphic Design Volunteer at the Thaddeus Resource Center, you will contribute your creative skills to enhance our visual communication and outreach efforts. Your designs will play a vital role in conveying our mission, engaging our community, and supporting women and single moms on their journey toward self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Create eye-catching marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and posters.
- Design digital assets for social media campaigns and website content.
- Maintain consistency in visual branding across all platforms.
- Develop and refine the Thaddeus Resource Center’s visual identity.
- Design event banners, invitations, and promotional graphics.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure effective communication.
- Assist in creating graphics for the organization’s website.
- Optimize images for web use.
- Enhance and edit photos and videos for various purposes.
- Ensure high-quality visuals for storytelling.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design Tools:
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with Canva Pro for quick design tasks.
- Creativity and Attention to Detail:
- Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Collaborative Spirit:
- Work closely with other volunteers and staff.
- Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs.
- Project-based with flexible scheduling.
