About this Opportunity
We value your experience!
Norfolk County RSVP offers carefully vetted school volunteer opportunities for former and retired teachers at eight selected public elementary schools in Norfolk County, MA. Support a K-5 host teacher in helping young students develop literacy, math and social development skills. Guide individual and small group activities. Be part of the classroom community again and make a difference in as little as 1-2 hours per week!
Volunteers must be ages 55 and older to participate in this special intergenerational school volunteer program.
We are currently pre-registering for this coming school year (Oct 2024 -June 2025). RSVP currently has volunteer opportunities in: Dedham, Walpole, Weymouth, Randolph and Stoughton.
Norfolk County RSVP is funded by the Norfolk County Commissioners and a federal grant from AmeriCorps Seniors to encourage and support volunteerism at a local and national level.
