Food Rescuer - Hackettstown, Warren County, NJ

Our volunteers recover healthy meals from commercial donor cafeterias and deliver them to specified nearby non-profit organizations. Every meal saved nourishes our community in need whilst also reducing the landfill waste and so helping the environment.

The volunteer role would involve:

• picking up meals from our donor cafeteria, and
• delivering these meals to our non-profit community partner/s in nearby area.

Pick up will be on Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. from Atlantic Health Care donor cafeteria and deliveries will be made to a nearby Hackettstown non-profit community partner, located 1.5 miles from the donor.

Each volunteer task will take approximately one hour including travel time between donor and recipient.

Volunteers will need to drive their own car. We welcome regular participation but will work with your schedule.

We are looking for volunteers in the Warren County area.
