About this Opportunity

United For Human Dignity (UFHD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed mental health support to individuals in need, including survivors of human trafficking and those facing significant life challenges. As part of our mission, we offer free support groups and pro bono therapy services to ensure access to compassionate care.

We are seeking licensed psychotherapists or clinical psychologists to provide limited pro bono clinical support within their state of licensure. Volunteers in this role will also facilitate one virtual support group twice per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a support group (twice per month) for individuals facing trauma, relationship & life challenges, or other mental health concerns.
  • Offer one pro bono individual therapy within your state of licensure.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation while adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Provide trauma-informed, culturally competent care.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure continuity of support for participants.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active state licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD, PsyD) required.
  • Proof of liability insurance.
  • Experience in group facilitation preferred.
  • Experience in trauma, relationship counseling, or sexual health preferred.
  • Commitment to providing at least 2 group sessions per month for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Training in somatic therapies, EMDR, or mindfulness-based approaches is a plus.
