Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, results-driven individual to volunteer as a Speaker for our Pathway to Success Seminar. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to helping young mothers gain the financial skills and knowledge needed to build financial independence and security. As a Volunteer Speaker, you will lead a 45-minute session focused on empowering young mothers to manage their finances through budgeting, saving, and debt management. This workshop aims to equip participants with practical tools to improve their financial well-being and create lasting financial stability for themselves and their families.

We’re looking for a passionate, results-driven individual with:

  • Experience in personal finance, budgeting, or financial coaching, particularly for young families or underserved communities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences, particularly young mothers.
  • Knowledge of financial literacy basics such as budgeting, debt management, saving, and credit scores.
  • Empathy and the ability to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment for participants to learn and feel confident about managing their finances.
  • Organizational skills to deliver a clear, structured 45-minute presentation with actionable takeaways.

Nice to have:

  • Background in financial coaching, economics, or personal finance education.
  • Experience working with young mothers or underserved populations.
  • Previous experience delivering workshops, webinars, or group training sessions on financial literacy or personal finance.
  • A passion for helping others achieve financial stability and build a secure future for themselves and their families.

Time Commitment:

  • 1-2 hours for preparation and content creation.
  • 45-minute presentation during the Pathway to Success Seminar
