About this Opportunity
The Fundraising Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing fundraising initiatives that support the mission and financial sustainability of the organization. This role works closely with the Board of Directors, Brand & Marketing Committee, Fund Procurement Committee, and Volunteer Relations Committee to design and implement successful fundraising strategies and events.
Key Responsibilities:Serve as Chair of the Fundraising Committee, coordinating meetings and leading committee initiatives.
Research, propose, and present creative fundraising ideas to the Board of Directors for approval.
Plan, develop, manage, and execute board-approved fundraisers from concept to completion.
Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Committee to provide timely and engaging event content for promotional distribution.
Partner with the Fund Procurement Committee to create sponsorship tiers and packages tailored to each fundraising initiative.
Determine entry fees and associated costs for each fundraiser to maximize participation and revenue.
Identify and secure suitable venues for fundraising events.
Ensure all fundraising activities remain within the budget approved by the Board.
Coordinate with the Volunteer Relations Committee to define volunteer needs, develop job descriptions, and secure sufficient volunteer support for each event.
Actively solicit sponsorships, in-kind donations, and volunteer commitments to support fundraising goals.
Track and analyze fundraising outcomes to meet or exceed projected goals.
Communicate proactively with board members regarding additional support, resources, or engagement needed to ensure fundraising success.
