Blitz Baltimore Community Launch with On-site PSA

Welcome to the most ambitious initiative in the history of U.S. prostate cancer programs and services. Together with our Lead Founding Partner, Novartis, ZERO will work with supporters across the country to invest into the communities hit hardest by prostate cancer. It's time to create healthcare solutions that dramatically improve care and save lives. We're excited to share that ZERO Prostate Cancer will be a part of an upcoming community event in Baltimore focused on prostate cancer awareness and screening. This event is going to be one of many that are a part of ZERO's Blitz the Barriers initiative.

Purpose

Communicate the ZERO mission and ways to engage, give volunteers space to tell their stories, and increase awareness of prostate cancer screenings. The overall goal of the event is to bring greater awareness of health issues that can impact our workforce and their families, offer educational opportunities, and show how diversity impacts health care decisions. We would like to highlight how different demographics are impacted by disease. Ex. Heart disease may present differently in men and women. Role

We’d love to have you there with us! We need a few friendly, welcoming volunteers to serve as greeters and help host our ZERO information table. You’ll connect with community members, sharing resources, and helping make the event a warm and inviting space for everyone. - Set up the resource table with a tablecloth, resources & information - Attend the event & interact with guests on behalf of ZERO Prostate Cancer - Communicate ways to engage with the organization
