Volunteer for hospice families, veterans, pet companionship and office work

Are you ready to help? Do you need volunteering hours for school?

Amedisys Hospice's volunteering team is looking for open hearted individuals who have at least 4-8 hours per month to share with our patients and their families.

* WHAT DO YOU DO?

Would you like to connect with patients and their families to discuss a life story? How about celebrating a birthday with them or even checking to make sure they have all the supplies they need? Is honoring veterans important to you - it is to us and need veteran volunteers to make this dream a reality. Volunteers even provide critical services such as in-home respite for families and companionship visits. And if you have a certified companionship animal - pet companionship visits.

* WHAT'S REQUIRED?

4-8 hours per month after application and training

* CAN I TRY OUT DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES?

Absolutely! We want this experience to be fulfilling for you - so we have a variety of projects to benefit our volunteers so they can help our patients.
