Amedisys Hospice's volunteering team is looking for open hearted individuals who have at least 4-8 hours per month to share with our patients and their families.

* WHAT DO YOU DO?

Virtual connection opportunities with patients and families over the phone.

Do you have a special fur baby who can bring joy to people's lives? Let's talk about how to get certified for pet companionship.

Would you like to connect with patients and their families to discuss a life story?

How about celebrating a birthday with them or even checking to make sure they have all the supplies they need?

Is honoring veterans important to you - it is to us and we need veteran volunteers to make this dream a reality.

Volunteers even provide critical services such as in-home respite for families and companionship visits and ensure that our patients and families have the support they need for this critical time in their lives.

* WHAT'S REQUIRED?

4-8 hours per month after application and training

* CAN I TRY OUT DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES?

Absolutely! We want this experience to be fulfilling for you - so we have a variety of projects to benefit our volunteers so they can help our patients.
