Smoke & Soul Volunteer Positions

Role Purpose:

Serve as the welcoming face of Smoke & Soul — greeting guests at check-in, verifying RSVPs or ticket scans, and providing event information.

Responsibilities:

• Greet attendees with professionalism and warmth
• Direct guests to seating, cigar lounge, or bar areas
• Distribute wristbands, menus, or event materials
• Maintain flow at entry points

Skills Needed:

Excellent communication, customer service, polished appearance

Role Purpose:

Support smooth coordination between event management and vendors (cigars, food, merchandise, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Assist with vendor check-in and setup locations
• Ensure vendors adhere to event guidelines and cleanup policies
• Communicate vendor needs to the BTS team
• Help collect vendor feedback or payments if applicable

Skills Needed: Organizational ability, diplomacy, multitasking

Role Purpose:

Provide hands-on assistance with event logistics to ensure the venue runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Support setup and teardown (tables, signage, décor)
• Monitor crowd flow and cleanliness throughout the night
• Respond to operational needs from BTS or venue staff
• Help maintain a polished environment throughout the event

Skills Needed: Physical readiness, teamwork, adaptability

Role Purpose:

Capture and amplify the Smoke & Soul vibe through live social media and guest engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Record short video clips and photos during the event
• Encourage guests to tag @TheBlackTieSociety on social media
• Coordinate with DJ Kryptonite for promo moments
• Assist with post-event recap content or testimonials

Skills Needed:

Social media fluency, creativity, professionalism
