Tackle a New Challenge and Learn a Little Too about how people who are blind can still live full and active lives! In some cases, you won't believe how active they can be. It's very easy all you need to know is how to read, sort mail, visit or go shopping or just out for a drive. It's all about being a good neighbor and friend.

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

• a desire to help others;

• a pleasant demeanor;

• a good reading/speaking voice;

• average reading skills;

• organizational or planning abilities;

• a good driving record;

• a clear criminal history;

• two references

• access to a car with proof of insurance;

• a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.
