Quality Assurance Analyst Volunteer Role for Odoo at CrowdDoing

CrowdDoing.world is seeking a QA analyst to test and validate our Odoo platform. This is an unpaid, virtual volunteer role to use your skills for social good.

As QA Analyst, you will develop test cases and scripts to verify Odoo workflows and integrations. You'll perform thorough regression testing after any changes or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing requirements and specifications to draft test plans
• Creating comprehensive test cases and test scripts
• Setting up test data and environments for testing
• Executing test scripts and reporting defects
• Performing regression testing after fixes or enhancements
• Logging bugs, tracking status and following up on resolutions
• Analyzing test results and providing recommendations

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a software QA tester
• Strong understanding of test methodologies and frameworks
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Technical aptitude and analytical thinking
• Familiarity with ERP or open source systems ideal
• Passion for volunteering skills towards social impact
