We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support our CEO and Chief of Staff in managing day-to-day operations. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization while contributing to meaningful projects that make a positive impact on the community.
What you’ll do:
- Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and arrange appointments.
- Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
- Administrative Support: Assist with preparing documents, presentations, and reports for meetings and projects.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Assist with data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports to inform organizational decisions.
- Event Coordination: Help organize internal meetings, team events, and community outreach activities.
- Research & Documentation: Conduct research and assist with special projects as needed, including maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
What we’re looking for:
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using tools like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google workspace, and project management software.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
