Visiting seniors on hospice care, Holt, MI

Gentiva Hospice is seeking volunteers in Ingham County that would like to make friendly visits to our patients.

the visits can either be in the person's home or in a facility. There is no hands on care. You will be there 100% for their enjoyment. Some examples of things to do may include conversations, activities, watching TV, reading or being read to, crafts, card games, listening to music and putting puzzles together.

People love volunteers because the focus is onthem and doing what they like to do. Patients love to have visitors.

Requirements to be a volunteer have to be completed to satisfy Medicare, nursing homes, and hospice guidelines. You will receive help with all of this.
