Light a candle in someone's life

Choice hospice needs compassionate volunteers that could sit with our patients, while caregiver runs errands. You can offer drinks and food to patient, but no hands on care. We train volunteers and will go with you the first time you sit with a patient. Some patients are able to talk and you can visit with them, others might sleep while you are there, so you could read or watch TV. This is so important to be able to give these families a break, to go to Dr. or shopping. Caring for a family member 24/7 is very tiring and stressful. That is where volunteer angels come in for a while and bring relief for these families. We have patients all over the OKC Metro so you can choose which area of the Metro you would like to volunteer.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and using your compassionate talents.

All of our volunteers are required to complete an application, background check and fingerprinting. We pay and schedule all of this. Also required is a Covid Vaccine.
