About this Opportunity
Apreva Hospice of San Diego is looking for passionate Veteran volunteers to provide support and to honor our hospice patients who also have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Patients may reside in their home, or in a long-term health care facility.
Duties may include: Officiating in Pinning Ceremonies and Vet Cafes to acknowledge the military service and sacrifices made by the Veteran and their family. These ceremonies gives an opportunity for each veteran to share part of his/her story. Veteran volunteers may also enjoy Vet to Vet visits sharing common military experiences and accomplishments.
