Become a volunteer!

No health background needed, just a compassionate heart.

You can be a companion for a hospice patient in your community. When you are part of the AGAPE HOSPICE CARE team, you receive training, active support from your supervisor, a network of fellow volunteers and staff, and the knowledge that you have comforted someone in their final journey.

Who are we looking for? Retiree's, men, women, students, interns, homemakers, Military Veterans, church groups, and all others in-between.

What does it take to become a volunteer?

• Interview (can be by phone)
• fill out an application
• consent to a background check (we pay for that)
• Take and pass drug and TB test (we pay for that)
• Relias on line training modules
• Copy of GADL, Auto insurance, and Vaccine card, if you have one.
• In-perspn orientation
• Meet your patient
