Role Summary
The Strategic Advisor Volunteer will provide high-level guidance to the Transcendent Parenting Project (TPP) leadership during the organization’s pre-launch phase. This role is designed for experienced professionals who want to share their expertise in governance, strategy, fundraising, and program design. Advisors will help shape the nonprofit’s foundation, ensure compliance with best practices, and serve as mentors to leadership, preparing TPP for long-term growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on TPP’s strategic direction, ensuring mission, vision, and values align with long-term goals.
- Provide guidance on nonprofit governance, board development, and compliance with bylaws and policies.
- Offer expertise on fundraising, donor cultivation, and philanthropic trends to strengthen sustainability.
- Review program models and evaluation methods, offering insights for effective family-centered services.
- Assist in building strategic partnerships with community organizations, colleges, and workforce agencies.
- Review budgets and financial strategies, providing recommendations for sustainability and accountability.
- Mentor TPP leadership, serving as a sounding board for decision-making and organizational growth.
