Volunteer with veterans on Hospice, another way to serve your country

Comapassionate Care Hospice is looking for veterans or active duty military to connect with our vetrans on hospice care. We have veterans pining ceremonies where we gather their family together and other veterans to honor the patients and thank them for their service. We have pins, certificates and other gifts for them. This is a very important day for our vets. We have opportunities to visit with our vets, chat with them about shared experiences, listen to stories that they have lived through. You can be a pen pal or a tuck in caller remotely if you like. It is all about connection.

We train everyone and supply everything for the pinning ceremonies. There is an application and an onboarding process. It will require a background check, driver's license and some health paperwork for the in person roles.
