Interdisciplinary Synergy Coach - CrowdDoing Pro Bono Coaching Collective

Join CrowdDoing's Pro Bono Initiative as an Interdisciplinary Synergy Coach, a role specially designed for those who thrive in bridging autonomy gaps through collaboration. This position focuses on supporting volunteers and partners engaged in interdisciplinary initiatives, aiming to foster the right relationships between diverse fields for effective systemic change.

Role Description

As an Interdisciplinary Synergy Coach at CrowdDoing Pro Bono Coaching Collective, you will be a volunteer working in a remote role. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating volunteers from different backgrounds in order to improve upon CrowdDoing projects. The Interdisciplinary Synergy Coach will also help improve project workflows and provide insight into how volunteers could better collaborate with one another to create long-lasting, systemic change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted coaching to individuals working in interdisciplinary teams, focusing on enhancing collaboration and bridging autonomy gaps.
  • Facilitate the development of skills necessary for effective interdisciplinary teamwork, such as cross-field communication, conflict resolution, and integrative thinking.
  • Guide individuals in understanding and appreciating the value of diverse perspectives and expertise in achieving systemic solutions.
  • Create a coaching environment that encourages the exploration of interdisciplinary approaches and the cultivation of mutual respect among team members.
  • Collaborate within the CrowdDoing Coaching Collective to develop and share strategies for fostering interdisciplinary synergy in systemic change efforts.

Qualifications

  • A strong desire and passion for social change and innovation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to lead teams and create cross-functional synergy
  • Project management experience
  • Certified coach or significant experience in coaching, particularly in interdisciplinary or team-based settings.
  • Insight into the challenges and dynamics of interdisciplinary collaboration, especially in the context of systemic change and global issues.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, capable of guiding diverse individuals towards cohesive and effective teamwork.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, empathetic, and ethically sound coaching relationship.
  • Interest in or knowledge of systemic change, interdisciplinary approaches, and global problem-solving.
