The Role

As our Grant Proposal Packet Designer, you’ll play a vital role in preparing grant applications for submission. You won’t be writing the grants or creating the budgets yourself , instead, you’ll transform draft narratives, budget figures, and supporting documents into complete, customized application packets.

Key Responsibilities

• Format budgets, narratives, and attachments into clear, professional PDFs.
• Apply consistent branding (logos, headers, templates) across all submissions.
• Incorporate leadership feedback to finalize packets.
• Turn around requests within 48–72 hours when flagged for design needs.
• Collaborate with the grant writers and coordinator to meet deadlines.

What You Bring

• Strong skills in document design tools (Word, Canva, Adobe, or similar).
• Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for layout/formatting.
• An eye for detail, clarity, and presentation.
• Ability to meet short turnaround times.

Time Commitment

• Flexible, project-based volunteer role (approx. 5–10 hours/month).
• Requests are deadline-driven, with 48–72 hour turnaround per project.

Compensation

This is a volunteer position. As the organization grows, we hope to provide a stipend in recognition of the specialized nature of this work.
