Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference — all from the comfort of your own home? Join Enhabit Hospice as a remote volunteer and help create a Community Resource Guide designed to support hospice patients and their caregivers.
This guide will be a vital tool, connecting families to services such as meal delivery, transportation, respite care, caregiver support groups, and other community resources that make caregiving easier. Your time and effort will directly impact families by helping them navigate one of life’s most challenging journeys with more confidence, comfort, and support.
💜 What You’ll Do
- Research and compile local and online resources for hospice caregivers
- Organize information into an easy-to-use guide
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to refine and update the resource
📍 Important Details
- Service Area: Enhabit Hospice serves patients within a 60-mile radius of our Wichita office.
- Interview: An in-person interview is required and can take place at a location of your choice within our service area.
- Onboarding & Drug Test: These must be completed at the Wichita office.
- Training: Offered in a hybrid format (part at home, part in-person) for your convenience.
- Remote Work: Once onboarding and training are complete, all work on the Resource Guide can be done remotely from home.
