Amedisys Hospice's volunteering team is looking for open hearted individuals who have at least 4-8 hours per month to share with our patients and their families.

* WHAT DO YOU DO?

Do you have a special fur baby who could bring joy to people's lives? Let's talk about how to get certified for pet companionship visits with our PAWS FOR PURPOSE program.

Would you like to connect with patients and their families to discuss a life story?

How about celebrating a birthday with them or even checking to make sure they have all the supplies they need?

Is honoring veterans important to you - it is to us and need veteran volunteers to make this dream a reality.

Volunteers even provide critical services such as in-home respite for families and companionship visits to make sure that people feel connected and honored at this critical time of their lives.

* WHAT'S REQUIRED?

4-8 hours per month after application and training

* CAN I TRY OUT DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES?

Absolutely! We want this experience to be fulfilling for you - so we have a variety of projects to benefit our volunteers so they can help our patients.
