About this Opportunity

Parenthood comes with many challenges. For first-time, young, or low-income parents, creating a safe and healthy environment can feel overwhelming. September is National Baby Safety Awareness Month - a perfect time to support families by providing essential items that help keep infants safe from harm.

How It Works

Whether you’re volunteering individually or as a group, CHS makes it easy to make a difference right from your own location. Simply host a supply drive, collect new baby safety items, and coordinate with CHS to deliver them to children and families in need.

Steps to Get Started

1. Create a Volunteer Profile

Register at chsfl.volunteerhub.com.

2. Register Your Project

Select "Baby Safety Supply Drive" as your volunteer activity.

3. Track Your Volunteer Hours

  • Each completed kit (containing 5 different items) = 2 volunteer hours

  • Each item purchased from our Amazon Wish List = 2 volunteer hours

  • Example: Need 10 hours? Register for 2 events (each event is worth 5 hours).

4. Collect or Purchase Supplies

Host your supply drive through your workplace, school, community, or personal network. (All items must be new.)

5. Delivery Options

  • Drop-off completed kits at:

    Children’s Home Society of Florida

    3335 Forest Hill Blvd

    West Palm Beach, FL 33406

    Attn: Julie Young

  • Amazon Wish List purchases will automatically ship to CHS.
