Position Overview
The Cardiovascular Physiology Teaching Assistant assists faculty in teaching the physiological principles of the cardiovascular system, including blood circulation, heart function, and blood pressure regulation.
Location: Remote
Start time: Jan 6, 2025
Time Commitment: 2 to 6 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Support: Assist with teaching sessions, provide explanations of cardiovascular concepts, and answer student questions.
- Grading: Grade assignments, exams, and quizzes related to cardiovascular physiology.
- Lab Support: Assist with virtual cardiovascular physiology labs and demonstrations.
- Student Assistance: Help students grasp the physiological mechanisms that regulate cardiovascular health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiology, Biomedical Science, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology and related topics.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
