Overview:

CrowdDoing is seeking a dynamic and innovative volunteer for the role of Self-Guided Orientation Automations Director. This role is critical in enhancing the volunteer onboarding experience through automated, self-guided orientation processes. By joining us, you will play a key role in shaping the journey of new volunteers, aligning with our mission of systemic change, social innovation, and sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automated Orientation Development: Design and implement an automated, self-guided orientation system for new volunteers that is informative, engaging, and user-friendly.
  • Content Creation and Management: Collaborate with various departments to develop orientation content, including videos, guides, and interactive modules.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the orientation system with existing HR and volunteer management platforms.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Continuously assess and improve the user experience of the orientation process, incorporating feedback from new volunteers.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze user engagement data to identify trends, effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
  • Training and Support: Provide necessary training and support to staff and volunteers for using the orientation system.
  • Innovation and Research: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in automated orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in developing automated systems, preferably in orientation or training contexts.
    • Strong understanding of content management and user experience design.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to the values and goals of CrowdDoing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
    • Experience with learning management systems and digital content creation is highly desirable.

    Time Commitment:

    • This is a volunteer position. The expected time commitment is 5 hours per week (to be specified by your organization).

    Location:

    • This position is remote, allowing for flexible volunteering from any location.
