About LoopTroop
LoopTroop is a purpose-driven rideshare and logistics platform designed to reconnect families, expand access, and empower justice-impacted communities through affordable, safe, and dignified transportation.
We’re building a system where drivers can thrive, riders can afford to ride, and communities can stay connected — without compromising sustainability or fairness.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Volunteer Pricing Strategy & Revenue Optimization Advisor to help us design and test the pricing logic for our rideshare app across our launch states (Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia).
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or mobility tech who wants to use their professional skills for a social good mission — ensuring that LoopTroop’s fare system remains equitable, competitive, and financially sustainable.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and compare pricing models from other rideshare and mobility platforms (Uber, Lyft, etc.) to inform LoopTroop’s baseline strategy.
- Model fare tiers, subscription pricing, and regional adjustments that balance affordability and driver incentives.
- Evaluate operational costs and revenue splits to help define sustainable payout ratios for drivers.
- Collaborate with our Finance and Product teams to forecast growth and revenue sustainability under different pricing scenarios.
- Propose creative ideas for discount programs, promotions, or credits (e.g., LoopConnect, loyalty points).
- Present findings and recommendations directly to leadership for implementation into our app and Stripe integration.
Who You Are
- Background in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or Business Strategy.
- Experience with pricing analysis, revenue modeling, or gig-economy platforms preferred.
- Comfortable working with data (Google Sheets, Excel, or similar).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to translate numbers into strategic action.
- Excited to contribute to an innovative, mission-driven project that combines tech, transportation, and social impact.
What You’ll Gain
- Leadership experience shaping the financial model of a growing rideshare startup.
- Direct impact on how drivers earn and riders access affordable mobility.
- Networking and portfolio opportunities within a multi-state social enterprise.
- A letter of recommendation and optional pathway to paid or long-term advisory roles as we scale
