Serve at The Charlie Center: Shower Check-in Desk

The Charlie Center is a Navigation Center that serves the unhoused community of North Austin and surrounding areas.

We are looking for volunteers to serve onsite at The Charlie Center on Wednesdaysfrom 9:30am to 12:30pm, checking clients in on the computer for the shower program.

What volunteers for this shift can expect: Volunteers will be sitting outside under a cover for this shift. The volunteers will check clients in on the computer that starts the shower timer and will communicate remaining time for showers to staff. Staff will then notify clients of remaining time and clean the showers in between clients.
