25-26 Marine Science Ctr, Marine Stewardship Educator

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Port Townsend Marine Science Center is located in Fort Worden State Park and downtown Port Townsend. Our two park facilities house a small vibrant aquarium and a museum with a variety of unique exhibits and classroom space. Our downtown facility includes a visitor center and gallery space. We focus on conservation, science, and education. Our goal is to help visitors learn about this special place and explore how we are and can continue to steward the Salish Sea. The member will primarily support our school programs, exhibits, and camps. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until position is filled. Monthly stipend amount: $1,942.
