Healing Action - VISTA Leader

Healing Action is a St. Louis-based non-profit organization that provides direct services to adult victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. In addition to direct services, Healing Action also houses the statewide Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation. Healing Action's VISTA Intermediary Project exists to build the capacity of anti-trafficking and victim service organizations across the state so that survivors are able to increase their access to basic needs, obtain self-identified goals, and have improved access to healthcare. The VISTA Leader will build capacity by implementing HAN's AmeriCorps VISTA Intermediary project to ensure a successful program supporting survivors throughout the state. Key objectives include supporting the recruitment of high-quality VISTAs, conducting VISTA member training, coordinating ongoing professional development, facilitating a successful year of service for VISTAs, increasing project, and member effectiveness by monitoring monthly member reports, recruitment and supporting other VISTA host sites, and working with the Director of Strategic Advancement to ensure overall project stability and sustainability.
