About this Opportunity
The AmeriCorps program allows individuals to mentor and assist children during after school hours with homework, character programs, reading programs, and recreational activities. In Summer, the group leaders provide fun and interactive educational and recreations activities in summer camp. The Group Leaders work with the Unit Directors and Chief Program Officer to implement the club programs and supervise the BGC members (children). The Group Leaders will follow and carry out all safety policies and procedures to protect the children, staff and families entering the building.
