RMYC Silviculture Intern

The position serves as a member of the silviculture crew with the goal and mission of controlling the establishment, growth, composition, health, and quality of forests and woodlands to meet the diverse needs and values of landowners and society such as wildlife habitat, timber, water resources, restoration, and recreation on a sustainable basis. Members are expected to serve 80 hours within the two week pay period, ten-hour service days are the norm. Generally, you will serve four 10-hour days over a week. Members may have 8-day hitches during their service and may serve over the weekend. Schedule determined by the host site.
