Stewards VISTA: WV Land Trust Year 1

The West Virginia Land Trust (WVLT) is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to protecting West Virginia¿s natural lands, scenic areas, water quality, and recreational access forever. Since 1994, the organization has permanently protected more than 22,000 acres of land statewide. WVLT¿s mission is to work with a statewide network of partners to build a passionate land conservation movement in the state, to achieve the greater goal of protecting land with significant conservation values.

The Conservation Outreach Coordinator will work to expand the conservation movement statewide. There will be opportunities to learn new skills or hone existing skills including campaign marketing, event planning, interpretive writing, photography, and videography, all with a natural resource focus. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with staff at other agencies and organizations.
