What¿s Next East Kentucky (WNEKY) is a regional initiative rooted in Appalachian values¿hard work, family, and faith in our communities. We work to grow opportunities across Eastern Kentucky by building strong local relationships, supporting small businesses, and encouraging community-led solutions. WNEKY brings together towns like Prestonsburg, Neon, and Grayson, and groups like the Jackson County Creatives and Grayson Gallery, with regional organizations such as the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, Brushy Fork Leadership Institute, and the KY Small Business Development Centers.

WNEKY supports economic development by helping people work together, sharing what works, and investing in the strengths of each community. Through the Community Accelerator program, we help local leaders build projects that matter¿like revitalizing main streets, launching community events, and creating new places for neighbors to gather.
