Stewards VISTA: Navajo County Coal Communities Y1

We are the Northern Arizona BRECC (building resilient economies in coal communities) comprised of 3 County's Economic Development professionals, 3 utility partners and 5 local municipalities, 2 universities and 3 workforce training organizations. We have been developing our plan for the last 2 years as part of the NACO BRECC cohort and have this plan completed as a region. We are a large geographic area that is very rural, including multiple Native American tribes. We are located in Northeastern Arizona with our lead location being Holbrook Arizona. We are actively engaged with multiple federal funding partners for many planning projects. This diverse economic development works requires an Americorps Vista teammate that enjoys outdoor recreational activities and engaging with rural residents.
