Summer VISTA 2026 Community Engagement and Recruitment- CA

Inland Empire YouthBuild supports young adults in earning their high school diploma or equivalency while gaining hands-on job training and leadership skills. The program combines education, workforce development, and community service to help participants overcome barriers, secure employment, and build pathways to long-term economic stability. The VISTA member will strengthen recruitment and outreach by implementing strategies that connect youth to Inland Empire YouthBuild programs. They will conduct outreach, represent the program at events, and track engagement data. The VISTA will also enhance recruitment materials and systems to improve outreach effectiveness, increase enrollment, and expand access to education and workforce opportunities.
